Residential dumpster rental services for trash removal
Utilizing dumpster rental services for trash removal is a great way to keep your project on schedule, your areas clear of clutter and everyone safe. Whether it’s a whole house cleanout, a simple decluttering or a complex room remodeling project, we’ve got dumpsters that will secure all the debris your project generates and we’ll haul it away for you.
In a perfect world, you could just put your debris in trash bags and set them at the curb, but rarely is this going to be a likely scenario when you take on a project. When you generate a large volume of trash and debris, such as drywall, cardboard, household clutter, carpet, clothing and other debris associated with most spring cleaning and remodeling projects, you need a large receptacle to put it in. That’s what we offer at A City Suburban Dumpsters – dumpster rental services for home cleanouts.
Customer service here is EXCELLENT
Called here to rent a dumpster for some yard waste cleanup. We ordered the 6cubic yard container that was more than sufficient to clear out our garage, a shed, and accumulated dirt and Tree debris across a total of about 1500sq ft of land. Clean container.
The dumpster arrived promptly at 7am as promised in the 7-9am window. The driver was a very friendly guy who took his time to place the dumpster in the driveway as desired.
Customer service here is EXCELLENT.
We needed the dumpster for a extra few days as it was raining throughout the week and some of our plans were delayed. They were super understanding and kind, putting no pressure on us to rush so that they could pick it up.
I will be using them again and recommending them to my neighbors!!
Find the right dumpster size for your home debris cleanup
Every home debris cleanup project is different, which means you can match yours to the right dumpster size. The dumpsters we recommend for home debris cleanup, including spring cleanings come in four sizes: 6, 10, 15 and 20 cubic yards. The following are the stats on each unit and should help you decide which will be the best fit for your home debris cleanup project:
Measures 12 ft. by 6 ft. by 2.5 ft. Holds up to 4,000 lbs of debris and is perfect for small cleanouts and can be used for brick, dirt and concrete.
Measures 14 ft. by 6 ft. by 3.5 ft. Holds up to 5,000 lbs of debris and is a great option for a two-car garage cleanout, small remodeling jobs, bricks, dirt, concrete and furniture.
Measures 16 ft. by 8 ft. by 3.5 ft. Holds up to 6,000 lbs of debris is often rented for two car garage cleanouts, medium remodeling jobs and small- to medium-size remodelling jobs, basement clutter and other household items you need to clear out.
Measures 18 ft. by 8 ft. by 4.5 ft. Holding up to 8,000 lbs of debris is a good option for a three car garage cleanout/construction.

Common household waste removal items
While there are items that can’t be placed in a dumpster, such as toxic materials like paint, oil, detergents, tires, appliances, some electronics and solvents or anything that is not allowed to be placed in a landfill, most household items can go in our dumpsters. The following are some of the more common:
- Non-organic trash items
- Home improvement debris
- Concrete, brick and asphalt
- Household junk
- Window treatments
- Landscaping waste
If you have material you’re not sure can legally go in a dumpster, contact us and we’ll run through the checklist with you.
How to get rid of trash from your residential project
Once you’ve determined the right size of your residential dumpster rental, you need to figure out where you can put it. At A City Suburban Dumpsters, we recommend placing it as close to the area you’re cleaning as possible. For most property owners, the driveway is the perfect spot, as it is easily accessible. The yard is also an option, but placing it here runs the risk of damaging your yard during drop off and removal.
When a driveway or yard aren’t options, curbside drop off is the only viable location and will probably require a permit. Finally, keep in mind that as your dumpster fills with waste, it must go no higher than the top edge of the residential dumpster rental.
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster for your home cleanup?
At A City Suburban Dumpsters, we keep our pricing as simple as possible and never include hidden fees so you can rent a dumpster without feeling like you’re destroying your budget. We also offer same day rentals at no extra cost (when available), but it’s recommended to reserve your dumpster in advance of your home cleanup start date to ensure you have one on site. The following are the prices for each of our dumpsters for five day.
The price includes drop off and removal:
- 6 cubic yards: $320
- 10 cubic yards: $350
- 15 cubic yards: $370
- 20 cubic yards: $400
Need your dumpster for a few more days? No problem. Let us know you and we’ll delay picking it up. The fee is only $100 for the extra days.
